Idaho drivers ed guide
In Idaho, a teen who wants a license before 17 must finish driver training, through a public school program, a private driving business or, in rural areas, a parent paired with an approved online class. From 17, drivers can test without a course. A 6 hour approved defensive driving class removes 3 points once every three years, and some cities run a traffic safety program that keeps an infraction from adding points at all.
