Oregon drivers ed guide
No Oregon teen is required to take drivers ed, yet finishing an ODOT-approved course halves supervised practice from 100 hours to 50 and spares the teen a DMV drive test for two years afterward. Adults may test without a course. The state offers no traffic school and no point reduction class; a few city courts run their own programs, and drivers 55 or older can earn an insurance discount through a DMV-approved collision prevention course.
