Nevada drivers ed guide
Before a Nevada teen under 18 can hold a full license, the DMV expects a finished driver education course it has approved and a log of 50 practice hours in most cases; adults 18 and older need neither the course nor a permit. On the ticket side, a traffic safety course you take on your own at a DMV licensed school takes 3 demerit points off your record, no more than once a year, while some courts separately let drivers use traffic school when settling a citation.
