Wisconsin drivers ed guide
In Wisconsin, a teen under 18 must be enrolled in certified driver education to get an instruction permit and must finish it before a probationary license; the course is 30 classroom hours, 6 hours driving and 6 hours observing. At 18 or older no course is needed, and you can road test after seven days on a permit. A technical college Traffic Safety course lowers demerit points by 3 once every three years, but no course in Wisconsin dismisses a ticket.
