Michigan drivers ed guide
In Michigan, anyone under 18 learns to drive through Graduated Driver Licensing, which means two segments of driver education from a state certified provider. Adults 18 and over need no course and practice on a Temporary Instruction Permit for at least 30 days. A Michigan ticket cannot be dismissed by a class, but a driver who gets an eligibility letter can pass the Basic Driver Improvement Course so the ticket posts with no points and is not reported to the insurer.
