Ohio drivers ed guide
Every new Ohio driver under 21 takes driver education at a licensed school (24 classroom or online hours and 8 hours in the car) and logs 50 practice hours; at 21 and older, a short abbreviated course is needed only after a failed first road test. No Ohio course dismisses a ticket. An 8 hour remedial course adds a 2 point credit against suspension, and a one hour distracted driving course can take the place of a phone ticket's fine and points.
