New Mexico drivers ed guide
In New Mexico, anyone under 18 seeking a first license must finish driver education approved by the Traffic Safety Bureau, DWI unit included, while first-time drivers from 18 to 24 complete the None for the Road DWI awareness class instead. Teens progress through three stages, beginning with an instructional permit at 15. After a traffic ticket, a judge may defer sentencing on condition that you complete a driving safety school, and the citation is dismissed once you comply.
