North Dakota drivers ed guide
If your North Dakota teen wants to drive before 16, plan on a permit at 14, a formal driver education course and 50 hours of practice with you; wait until 16 and the course is no longer required. After a ticket worth 5 points or fewer, an approved course can keep those points off your record, or a course can take 3 points off once a year, and insurers must discount premiums for an approved accident prevention course.
