Connecticut drivers ed guide
In Connecticut, nobody under 18 gets a license without formal training: a licensed school, a high school course or supervised home study, plus a two hour class for a parent and 40 hours of driving. Beginners 18 and up sit an 8 hour Safe Driving Practices Course before their road test. Tickets cannot be erased with a class here. Repeat offenders get sent to the DMV's Operator Retraining Program, and motorists aged 60 or over who finish an approved accident prevention course are owed an insurance discount.
