Vermont drivers ed guide
In Vermont, a teen who wants a license before 18 takes a state-approved course of 30 classroom hours, 6 hours driving and 6 observing, keeps the learner's permit at least a year and logs 40 more practice hours, 10 at night. Drivers 18 and older need no course. After a ticket there is no traffic school to fall back on: no class dismisses a ticket or removes points, so the decisions that matter happen at the Judicial Bureau.
